Small steps of practice
Short learning rounds that earn screen time
A round has five questions, with hints when a question feels tricky. Your child practices at a level suited to their age and progress, and successful rounds add minutes under the rules you choose.
What a round looks like
Your child works through five questions, one at a time. Depending on the task, they choose an answer or enter a number. A hint offers a way into a tricky question. There is no race to answer quickly.
The examples below illustrate supported skills. They are not app screenshots or a promise that these exact tasks will appear.
What your child practices
Math
Arithmetic, fractions and number relationships give your child short, focused problems to work through.
Math example: 8 + 4 = 12
Money
Coins, change and understanding purchases make room to practice everyday decisions about money.
Money example: An item costs 70 cents. You pay 1 dollar. Your change is 30 cents.
Logic
Patterns and small grids invite your child to look for a rule, compare possibilities and think about what comes next.
Online smarts
Short situations cover ads, scams, sharing information and checking sources. An image alone cannot tell you whether it was made with AI. The useful habit is to check where information came from before trusting or sharing it.
Chance and risk
For ages 10 to 12, questions about probability and risk help your child compare possible outcomes. These activities are not available to every younger learner.
When a question is too hard
Hints support another try. A successful round needs all five answers correct, with at most two answered after hints. If a question remains too hard after the hint, the round ends gently with an explanation and no earned minutes. There is no punishment or loss of minutes already earned.
Practice adjusts to age and progress. Jar Loft is not a full school curriculum or an AI tutor, and it does not promise a particular learning result.
Age, language and curriculum
Jar Loft is for families with a child aged 6 to 12. Individual subjects and activities have age and curriculum requirements, so not every subject is available at age 6. Launch content is in English, with US and UK curriculum options. Actual rounds use the selected curriculum and suitable currency.

How learning becomes minutes
With the standard rules, a successful round earns 10 minutes. Parents can change the reward and daily limits. The daily allowance is separate, and the free plan includes one earning round a day.
